Ground Gundam: Camo is done! Decals and weathering next.

The camo and the basic assembly of the Gundam is done. After a base coat with Nato Green I proceeded to mask the borders of the areas that go in other colors using adhesive putty (sticky tack, blue tack, it’s all the same):

After masking came the Nato Brown, then repeat for the black, then to tone it down a bit, a lighter tone of heavily dilluted Nato Green was sprayed all over. The end result:

You can also see what I did with the backpack. The magazine retainer is scratchbuilt from thin sheet styrene:

Now this is ready for decalling and weathering.

    Good idea on the putty for the masking.
    Im was about to build the camo version of Gundam Maxter and was looking for some ideas.
